License Application

At the time of purchase, a customized license file is sent to you via email. This email contains your order number, name, email address and license code.

In order to activate the Trial version of AdShield, you only need to save the license.txt file to the AdShield program directory. This is done by opening the email titled "AdShield License Agreement" and selecting Save Attachments. Choose to save the license.txt file to c:\program files\adshield\adshield. (This is the default installation location for the program) See illustration below.

It may be necessary to restart your computer before the change will take affect.

Note: Hotmail and Yahoo sometimes remove line breaks in the license file.

Below is the format the license.txt file should follow. You can open the file in Notepad and edit the file to look as below to correct the problem.
